Maureen Keane is an Executive Coach and guide in Leadership Development. She also teaches at Lewis University and Loyola University in their leadership and communication programs. She has over twenty years of marketing, management and communication experience working with individuals, organizations and companies in pursuit of improving communication skills, client relationships, employee satisfaction and leadership effectiveness.

 

She spent sixteen years with IBM Corporation selling, managing, recruiting, and training. At IBM she worked extensively with customers – developing solutions, integrated marketing programs, and developing / delivering business seminars and executive presentations.

 

As a consultant, Maureen works with individuals and leading-edge organizations, such as McDonald’s Corporation, in leadership development. She has delivered management training and provided executive coaching for many organizations in the U.S and for McDonald’s globally (Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Brazil, Dubai, UK, India, Kuala Lumpur, China and Thailand). In 2010, she worked with a partner in Shanghai, delivering training to one of the largest multi-national classes at the newest McDonald’s Hamburger University (HU).

 

She has developed and delivered training and fostered talent development in areas key to success in business and life such as interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, presentation skills, business writing, strategic thinking, facilitation skills, conflict management, team development, and creativity.

 

As a university professor, she teaches courses in Communication, Business, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership. She has counseled numerous students and business professionals on workplace communication skills, interpersonal skills, public speaking, and nonverbal communication behavior. She has acted as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) in design and delivery of undergraduate- and graduate-level courses, developing and delivering on-ground, on-line, and blended courses in Communication, Organizational Leadership and International Business. She works with Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, and Loyola University in Chicago – both recognized for academic excellence.

 

Maureen has a Master of Science in Managerial Communication from Northwestern University. She also completed the Integrated Marketing Program at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University; the Training Consultants Course and Developing a Global Mindset at HU; and received a certificate in Global Communication from Northwestern University after attending professional development at the American University in Paris, France. She also has certificates in Instructional Design.

 

Maureen is lifetime qualified to interpret and administer the MBTI® Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a psychological instrument and the most widely used personality assessment tool in the world.

 

Maureen is currently earning MBTI® Master Practitioner status. She is certified in DiSC and is experienced and certified in the administration of multiple 360° Profilers, the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, and Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior (FIRO-B).
